	Southern Electromag Pvt. Ltd. is a part of the Electromag Group, the pioneer in the manufacturing of Enamelled Copper Wires in India. We are proud of being esteemed as the largest manufacturer of Superfine wires and the only manufacturer of Ultra fine wires in India. We along with Deepthi Insulated Cables Pvt. Ltd and Elmag Wires Ltd make up the Electromag Group.


	The promoter of our group, Mr. K.Jose Thomas is a metallurgical engineer from Indian Institute of Technology, BHU and is post graduate in Business Management from Paris, France.


	Mr. K.Jose Thomas is assisted by his sons, Bobby Jose and Jimmy Jose, both Mechanical engineers. Bobby is concentrating on Production while Jimmy is focussing on marketing and customer relations.

Our company was set up in 1980 at Chemical Industrial Estate, Aroor, Alappuzha District. The unit employed the most advanced Japanese technology and machinery of theday.From a modest beginning we have grown to be the largest producer of superfine and ultrafine enamelled copper wires in India. We pioneered production of self solderable and other special grades of enamelled copper wires in India, which were imported earlier.
